About the Event

With Christmas only one week away, it's time to get into the festive spirit and shake off the straight-up awful year 2020 has been. And since going outside is illegal, mosy on down to /warp Christmas and participate in our building event! This year, we have some very fun variations on the building contest! First, we have a THEME! The theme this year is... "An Elvish Christmas." What is an Orcish Christmas? You tell me! I'm very excited to see what you do with the theme this year! We're also doing Bronze plots again because they force you to think outside of the box. Additionally, we're officially dividing the judging criteria into categories. Your build will be judged based on the following three criteria: • Originality: 1-5 (How does your build stand out?) • Technique: 1-5 (From a building standpoint, not a Redstone) • Funny/Story: 1-5 (Is your build humorous? Does it tell a story?) The three builds with the highest scores will be the winners! The event will start tomorrow and will last until December 29th. As usual, in order to get your plot, you must post a message with your IGN here on the forums (or message me on Discord) and a plot will be assigned to you shortly afterward. Here's a summary of the rules: Rules: • The event will last for about a week starting tomorrow. During this time, you may build on your plot to create your best possible Orcish Christmas themed build! At the end of the time staff will come online and judge the top 3 who will receive prizes! • You may add friends to your plot but only one prize per plot will be given out! • Builds must be appropriately themed! • Building materials are NOT provided. • WE/VS will not be used to construct the builds! Everything must be done by hand. PRIZES: WE GOT CRAZY GOOD PRIZES THIS YEAR Y'ALL!
