I know its not summer and but this server now is not as popular in the summer. But I still think because our server is growing, I wanted to know why the area near the enchantment tables/enderchest at the market dont sell any "on sale" items. Also when was the last time we had a drop party... I know admins/lor have been busy with events but I feel the need to ask you people to add this at the market. If you are not going to keep this in mind could you please tell me why?
Pweeze, no hate in da comments :(

fair enough :/ it was just a question
I didnt really want change just a question...
Also, Theo we did not have 1 drop party, when Lor was an early Owner she would host drop parties all the time!

To put it simply, drop parties are the lazy man's version of events: Free stuff, no building required, generally chaotic, wields low player participation.

Also like Theo said, if we hosted drop party's, the server would just be a bunch of OP players that do nothing.

I think it would be cool for a drop party, but its not like admins hosting it, a player could just randomly say hes giving away stuff and people go to a "Drop Party Area" but even that isn't to good of idea

That's rarely a thing. I've played for almost half a year now and maybe a month of my playtime has seen the market have special sales, and it was only for halloween.

The server is actually way more popular now than it was last summer! You're right about the growth. We're consistently getting 35 players per day, usually hitting 40-something on the weekends. Last summer 35ish was the occasional rare peak.
Also when was the last time we had a drop party...
Drop parties are stupid. They're completely idiotic. In the entire time I've played on TOR we've had one drop party. One. They're fun while you're doing it but in the end it's literally just admins giving players free extremely valuable stuff with no one doing anything worthwhile whatsoever.
Events make sense. In an event, you actually do something and if you're the best at doing that thing, then you win. It's a challenge. There's no challenge in a drop party. If we were going to do drop parties on a regular basis we might as well become one of those servers run by 12 yr olds where everyone gets full enchanted diamond gear when they log in and all the staff have the spammy &k letters in their name.
TOR is not that kind of server, and if Lor can help it it will never be that kind of server.

HATE! HATE! HATE! HATE! (jk)
This seems overly unnecessary at the moment. Staff are busy, and there won't ever be a time when they're not. Special items (depending on what they are) could be either too op or simply useless altogether, we have lore items already, we don't need a bunch of new stuff. Drop parties could be fun... for us! But think about the staff, they have to plan it, announce it, then continually throw out items into a crowd of spamming players... and right now they're as busy as ever.
