Edit: Although I imagine a player with either a flame ranged weapon or fire aspect weapon would change these results drastically.
And that's what I mean by manipulation. When I was part of Dol Amroth, I faced several armies of orcs, Ologs, and Wargs. I won every time. But I also played my cards strategically, shooting and targeting my efforts on the Ologs knowing the amount of devastation they cause, and it worked. Shooting an Olog with Flame is such an easy counter method.
The problem with the reasons offered to complete removing the troop limit come down to this... Aside from lag, wealth is such an unfair component. You see, if you're wealthy enough to buy an army that can feasibly destroy some Ologs without any interference, you most definitely can afford the simple counter method of Flame. Besides, what's to stop the evil side from buying 50 Ologs? When you can only afford 80 Swan Knights? I fail to see how that's fair whatsoever.
Oh, and one more thing about Swan Knights: Cavalry is at least twice as good as regular Swan Knights.

Ok I feel like this has been answered so I'm locking the thread.

How long did it take you to write up that giant wall of useless text? Maybe you don't realize, but removing the troop limit would result (in the end) with the server crashing. Tbh, having a troop limit is much better than having a laggy server that crashes every 5 minutes. If you're as smart as Phoenix, you'll be able to beat 30 uruk hai easy.
I'm 99.999% sure this will never happen. Please no more giant text walls...

swan knights are 35 coins at their lowest and olog-hai are always 120 with this in mind you can go 3 to one which actually is fair. Yes it is true that some players have more money then others but that is all part of the game. Also the player with more money has to earn the money they receive and once a good source of income is found you can get a reasonable amount of money to. I personally think the troop limit also limits the experience that players may have on the mod. Why can't someone amass an army of 1,000 plus orcs to conquer middle earth ( this would actually be more lore friendly then the limit because in the LOTR the orcs just kept making men.). When it comes down to it, we are talking about war and war knows no bounds, the key factor is winning and whether this be by strategy or buy building up a massive army (this would also help in wars since some factions have bad troops and need lots of them to defeat other players armies) should not matter the only thing that should matter is the end result. Now I know lag has to come into play so this is what I thought, yes 1000 troops in one general area would cause a lot of lag so make it so a player may not have over 250 troops in a certain area( this would also encourage players to build more forts) but can have an unlimited amount of troops spread out across the map. The troop limit really only makes op troops even more op and the weak troops weaker because the whole idea behind weak troops is that you will need a lot of them to win. To comment on your claim that a flame book is cheaper than amassing an army that is actually false, especially for weaker factions were the number of troops you can get for an amount of money is their advantage, the troop limit actually takes away the main advantage these factions have. For example I can get tauredain warriors for warriors for 15 coins each. The cheapest I have seen a flame book running for is 2.5k. Putting these to facts together I can get around 170 warriors for the price of 1 book. Even with expensive troops such as mounted swan knights which are 35 coins a piece I can still get around 80 of them for the price of 1 book. Now if you put this together you can see the limit not only makes it easier for more op factions to win wars but it also allows rich players who can afford these enchantments to have the upper hand in most battles. If the troop limit was erased then a bow would not have as much of an effect because 170 tauredain warriors (their only strength is in their numbers if I am being honest) is much more difficult to take out with a single weapon then 30 tauredain warriors is. Also the rich players can afford 30 of their stronger troops and easily take out any new player or a player who is in a weaker faction. Seriously 30 tauredain warrior don't stand a chance against 30 urukhai or 30 high elves it just makes the playing field a lot more slanted towards the OP faction and again, it takes away the weaker factions main advantage of being able to buy massive amount of warriors for a much smaller price.

It kinda boils down to who's the smarter player on each side.
