Do you have previous staff experience? If so, elaborate:
Well, yes I have. Quite a lot. I'll explain from the beginning with no more than two sentences per position, hopefully. I became a Helper on another modded server. I quickly became JrMod, Mod, and then Mod+ after that, within the span of 3 months. After that, there was another month before I was promoted to Admin. I resigned a few months later. In the meantime, I became staff on another modded community. Same story there essentially, I was Mod, then Mod+, then offered the position of Admin but I lost interest in the modpack. So I resigned, again (hehe). Another few months later, on the same network, I became Admin of a different server and soon became Head-Admin after that. But I had a falling out with the Owners (they made some choices I did not agree with) and the server I was staffing was going to closing any week. So I resigned for awhile. I became Admin on Hubris, one of their brand new servers, and eventually ended up as Community Manager for the network. (Which, at the time, was essentially right below Co-Owner).
A few months later, A.K.A the present. The Network has closed, and I resigned a little while before that because one of the Owners couldn't see past his personal gripes and started treating me like crap.
I know this sounds like a lot of back and forth within one network, and it really is. But each server I staffed on was different, which allowed me plenty of experience with dealing with players and plugins.
If you have had staff experience, what plugins do you have experience working with?:
WE, Essentials, Towny, World Guard, Prism, Group Manager, and much more. (but those are the most significant ones)
Why do you want to be a staff member?:
Why do I want to be staff... Well, I enjoy helping others. But I believe that should be taken for granted for anyone who applies for staff.
In all honesty, I really want to be staff to become better connected to the community. Ever since that one network closed, I've been searching for one as enjoyable as it. And I believe I found one even better here at TOR.
So, yes, I want to be staff to help people and provide security for the server. But I also want the chance to make new friends and relations all while playing the magical world of LOTR. Hopefully, you allow me that chance.
