7th Annual Holiday Build Contest!

SO THIS IS NEW. HI. IT'S ME, MIDO. As has been tradition for years and years now, we've enjoyed the sweet bliss of our Christmas building contests, and this year will be no different! As Phoenix before me, I now have the ultimate pleasure to host and announce the start of the 7th Annual Christmas Building Event this very Monday!!!

With Christmas around the corner and the first pieces of snow having fallen, there's no better moment to start than now! Use this weekend to immersivy yourself FULLY in the Christmas spirit so this Monday on the 19th you can start building! Lacking some inspiration? Visit the `/warp Christmas` early to see what the contestants before you have created!

In the past we've had all kinds of themes for various Christmasi, and this year is no different! We'll be enjoying a more natural Christmas, to make sure we stay humble. Therefore the theme will be; a Tribal Holidays! This can mean whatever you interpret it to mean! Favor the Jungle Nomads or do you seek the direction of the Gundabad orcs? Perhaps use some Dunlending architecture as it doesn't get more tribal than that! Find your way and your style, with our Tribal theme!

Unlike the last few years, you will have the size of a SILVER banner to fit the width of your build in, so get creative with space! (Vertical height is yours to command)! (((oh also also also, you can change your plot borders up to make sure it fits nicely)))!

JUDGING:

Your build will be judged based on the following FOUR criteria:

• Originality: 1-5 (How does your build stand out?)

• Technique: 1-5 (From a building standpoint)

• Funny/Story: 1-5 (Is your build humorous? And/or does it tell a story?)

• Theme: 1-5 (How well does your build fit the theme of the event?)

The three builds with the highest scores will be the winners!

The event will start Monday the 19th and will last until December 31st. As usual, in order to get your plot, you must post a message with your IGN here on the forums (or message me on Discord) and a plot will be assigned to you shortly afterward.

Here's a summary of the process:

RULES:

• The event will last just shy of 2 weeks starting Monday. During this time, you may build on your plot to create your best possible Tribal Holidays themed build! At the end of the event, staff will judge and select the top 3 who will receive prizes!

• You may add friends to your plot but only one prize per plot will be given out!

• Building materials are NOT provided.

• WE/VS/Staff Help will not be used to construct the builds! Everything must be done by hand.

THE PRIZES ARE SUPER GENEROUS AND THERE WILL BE SEASONS LP!

• 1st Place: MAJOR LORE ITEM

• 2nd Place: MAJOR LORE ITEM

• 3rd Place: LESSER LORE ITEM

• All participators receive a goody bag!
