Hello TOR, and best wishes for all!
As many of you know, I am the current manager of The One Ring Rewritten server. I am here to make amends with the community and reason with you as to why I want to be accepted back into the server. Most of you may dislike me in many ways, which of course, I don't blame you. But, I want everyone to know that I know what I did isn't the way things should have been done. I was a part of the group that, in a way most of you would describe as "steal the server" from the current staff and formal owner/manager of the past server hosting. Which ultimately caused the community much pain and discomfort.
As for the reason I wish to come back. I first joined TOR 4 years ago and instantly fell in love with the community. But, my time on the server has been very limited due to several past bans caused by misconduct on my behalf. I was welcomed and given several chances to be better and change my ways, but I ultimately squandered these chances time and time again. The last time I was welcomed back, coming upon nearly a year ago now, was my best run yet. I believe I was originally a good and helpful face within the community. But, I ruined this trust built within the community yet again by joining sides with the group whom changed the staff, removed Phoenix as owner by the host of the server, and caused TOR to be broken into two separate servers. However, when I originally agreed to become manager of TorR, I wanted it to be much different. My belief was that only Phoenix would be replaced, not the entire staff; At least, that's how I wished things had played out, but this is not the case. Trust in me was broken within the community, and the place I once called "my home away from home" turned against me and the split occurred.
I hope that I may one day be welcomed back into your community, and that I may be able to mend the broken connection I once had with TOR.
I wish all of you the best, and that you are all doing well on these days. Thank you.
~Will

William, I feel like we have danced this dance a million times now, I've memorized the steps but they're not being made much easier, are they?
Firstly, once you have been banned from the forums you can generally assume that your ban is without appeal. In your case, circumstances were slightly different as I had indicated to you in our conversation over a half year past. This conversation led me to believe that there was some redemption still left for you within our community and our midst. You needed only to grab it, in a timely manner. Instead, many months have passed, and we are greeted by an appeal that does not feel like an appeal, but a poor rendition of a story we have all lived.
Secondly, within the conversations we shared, you were truly sorry; you explained your views, your position, your future, and your choices for it. However, here and now, it is lacking. You seem more apologetic, and you seem to have grown more in your latest xray appeal than in this. Not to mention that only several days after posting this appeal did you decide to "sever" your ties with Rewritten. I might be wrong, but it sincerely seems like you are "appealing" to let the community know that the hostile takeover did not go as intended. For if you had the intention to appeal for the sake of returning to your "home away from home", you would have made more impactful choices earlier. You would have been more honest in this appeal, like you were with me privately. You would have showed the side of you, that wanted to come back, not the side that wanted to save face.
Thirdly, as you fairly state, you have been welcomed back many, many, many times over already. However, you must understand whether this was yet another case of xray or a part of the hostile takeover; one can only have so many chances and I fear yours have been accounted for. In your last appeal, I made it abundantly clear that this was going to be your last chance. As you rightfully say, it was most definitely your best run yet. You were loved and it was genuinely nice to have you return to our community again.
Lastly, taking everything that occurred into consideration; your past offenses, your conduct within our community during your playtime and outside of it, your appeal(s), even against my better judgement I have included our private conversations; and I still find unbanning you an unreasonable consideration. You have broken the trust we put in you on several occasions, how are we to believe that this time would be any different if your appeal cannot even reflect that? How are we to believe that over the past half year you have changed in your conduct, in the way you base your choices, in your line of thinking, if in your appeal you justify yourself by stating the desire was only to forcefully remove Phoenix? To clarify, that does not make anything better.
William, at this point I'm ranting but I must ask, why do say sorry twice in your latest xray appeal; but the one I'm reading now you can only state that it "isn't the way things should have been done." There isn't an apologetic hint to be found by the greatest creative thinker to grace this planet. What are we even to gather from this appeal, other than more reason not to accept you back?
I apologize if I let myself go a bit too much. This response was most definitely not pleasant to write, as with every letter of your appeal a million questions arose, to none of which I would like an answer. I sincerely do like you William and I had wished the following weren't so, however, your time on TOR has permanently ended and that is yet again by your own conduct. Cherish the memories you have, and know that I wish you the best in your other ventures. Good luck ♥.
TLDR; Denied because it did not follow the correct format.
