When you started playing: A little more than 2 months ago
Time played on the server: 13.53 days (I may need to go outside sometime soon)
Age: I'm happy to disclose to Phoe or Vand if this application is seriously considered, but suffice it to say that I am out of college.
Have you ever been banned or warned for breaking a rule? If so, elaborate: I have not.
Do you have previous staff experience? If so, elaborate: I served as the server's version of a "Helper" on the now defunct Acheron's Code (https://acheroncode.enjin.com/forum
), many years ago.
If you have had staff experience, what plugins do you have experience working with?: I do not have any experience with recent/up-to-date plugins, but I'm happy to learn. I have experience with most staff permissions and commands (fly, tpa, etc...) from my time at AC.
Why do you want to be a staff member?: I like playing on this server both because the mod is so enjoyable and the fact that it has one of the more active, friendly communities I have seen. If I were made a staffer, I believe I could help the community grow further by answering questions for new players (and hopefully ensuring they stay around longer), being on during the day to help existing players (that early morning crew really loves Fly), and providing support to the rest of the staff team. The addition of a staff member from one of the evil factions could also help prevent any misconceptions of bias, allow for a new perspective, and potentially encourage newer players to chose diverse and interesting factions for themselves. This would only help continue the server's development as (out of the ones I've played) the best LOTR server that is running.
Also, I like to think that I'm fairly well liked (or at least not hated?) by the active players on the server and that I can keep a cool head when issues surrounding rules do arise. These are important things to have as a staff member since it helps ensure there is no discontent and that everyone has the most fun possible while playing the game as they like.
