Reason for ban: According to staff including but not limited to: Exploiting, Keeping of Event Items, Block Glitching, and Illegal Waypoints
Time banned for: Haven't Received a Duration: Presumably Permanent
Date banned: 11/20/2024 (< the correct way)
Reason for appeal: Was looking to do some out of bounds snooping around the event, intended to keep everything by the books (going 1k out to leave a wp, using spiders etc.) but failed to realize that doing something illegal be it in a legal manner doesn't mean I'm following the rules. (And on top of that I failed miserably since since I ended up breaching the rules I intended to follow using those things regardless.) Truthfully, I did this thinking that I was operating within the rules (hence why I posted the screenshot to discord) but in hindsight I agree with staff that this falls under the umbrella term of general exploitation/finding loopholes in the rules.
Going forward I will be more mindful of the specifics of each rule and refrain from trying to get an unfair advantage in future events. Additionally I'd like to apologize for any inconvenience I may have caused as I intended this (taking all the event rewards and such) as a joke. (Be it in poor taste given the rule breach)
Additionally, Additionally, I've decided to take a break from my malicious activities on TOR and for a while before I return to my slimy ways, contribute to the community in a more positive way (for once lol) with a build project which I intend to make public (like a player market) so if pardoned of my ban, I will ensure to be on my best behavior and do community service 🙏
