A lot of hours/days. Not exactly 100% sure. My main or more "known" account Eol_ from back in 2019 got deleted during the minecraft java purge and my profile conjoined with my Xbox minecraft account which is now Champ___. Since coming back from stepping away over a few years, I have a total of about 14 Days. Before that on the account Eol_l a lot more. Before Eol_ it was xXNoahBearXx and so on.

QUESTIONS:

What are some examples of your leadership and/or teamwork experiences?

Currently I am part of a Tactical Law Enforcement team composing of 10 individuals each with a specific position to get the job, situation, or obstacle finished. My current position as the "Breacher" requires me to not only be in charge of the teams breaching and law enforcement gear/equipment, but also qualify and excel in expertise breaching obstacles regarding close quarter combat situations. My job not only requires me to handle and maintain my position on a team, but also be the Subject Matter expert in regards to being "THE Officer" compared to other officers with less experience. People look to me to lead and I lead by example showing others how to get the same task done in a respectful, helpful, and leading manner.

What do you excel at?

I excel in my ability to teach and assist others. I love being able to assist others with an open minded point of view. Being an officer has taught me to listen and understand other peoples voice or point of view. Sympathizing and asking questions to full understand the situation at hand. I am currently also an Instructor in which I have taught many new police officers in becoming Boarding Officers, Tactical Operators, as well as the "Breacher" position on their teams.

How familiar are you with the Lord of the Rings mod?

I am very familiar with the Lord of the Rings as well as the Lord of the Rings Mod. After taking time away and coming back, not many changes has been made Mod wise. But I have seen alot of change over the years playing this Mod pack since 2016. I am pretty knowledgeable in regards to the Tolkien Lore as I portray "Eol" The Dark Elf of the First Age. However, there is still alot that I am learning!

What is an example of personal growth you have done recently?

An example of personal growth that I have been doing is going back to School to finish the Engineering degree that I started before I became an Officer. With this I am taking a Spanish Course as an elective course to give me the ability to talk to alot of people that I come across on the job whose primary language is Spanish. This personally is to better understand or relate to them in a way that I couldn't. Help build a relationship to figure out or help with the situation at hand. Additionally, once my time of being an Officer catches up to me, Id love to become an Engineer as I love to build all sorts of buildings, structures... LEGOS!

What is your role in the community, currently?

My current role in the community is to be a Grey Elf. In other words, a wise individual with experience on the history of not only the server, but as well as players. Assisting others with knowledge or even physical objectives. As I always have since joining this community. An example in the past are multiple builds such as Minas Tirith or Helms Deep assisting many of the servers known builders. I am very active in chat and try to be ever most respectful to everyone, not just the staff. I like to assist both new or current member with their builds giving them inspirations or ideas so they can not only enjoy the server, but also make friends to play with on the server. Similar to the examples shown to me by B4gel and Pheonix when I first joined.

The last time you found yourself in a disagreement with another player, how did you approach it?

The last time I found myself in a disagreement with another player was regarding mis information that was being spread about myself to newer players. First I chose to let it go as words are just words and people who know me will know me for who I am. But when it comes to others not being able to enjoy the server I decided to handle the information one on one via Private Messaging. I initiated the conversation asking questions such as where the information was coming from, what the individual thought, and reasons for telling others misguided information. After learning it was a misunderstanding I expressed my position and side to the individual giving them my side of the situation. After the individual realized the full story he apologized for spreading mis information and be actually became friends on the server both assisting the newer players in his faction.

Naturally, not everything is perfect on TOR; what do you think needs improvement?

Since the begining I have seen alot of changes done to the mod. A lot of improvements. Yes there are still alot of improvements or updates as you will to include more factions, canon, lore items, etc. Personally, I think the creation of LORE ITEMS is genius in my opinion. But as far as improvements to TOR, I would honestly have to say staff help as always for any server. With new events and new players means more delegation and lately I have seen some incredible events happen created by the staff members, but it seems like there could always be the need for a runner / helper to assist whoever is hosting the event.

Lastly, what motivates you to continue playing and to apply to the staff team?

After getting older and slowly stepping away from being an officer, I find myself having more time to do things such as playing Minecraft versus going out all the time. Maturity if you will. With that time I got to rejoin this awesome community seeing all the incredible changes that I remembered playing back in the day. The new staff members are eager and incredible. Creating new ideas for everyone to enjoy on this server including myself. Most importantly. KEEPING THE SERVER GOING!

With that, a specific individual expressed something to me one night after looking at all the older players builds that I was a part of creating that was..."lost in time". He expressed to me that my own Personal Build on the server, (Nan Elmoth), doesn't have to be an old unfinished build, lost in time. And he was right. It doesn't. I portray this role as the Dark Elf of Nan Elmoth with an unfinished build that I am once again re eager to finish. And while finishing I think its time I take my journey to the next step on this server. The more I see the new players, the new events, the history I used to enjoy back in the beginning being re lit. I wish to be a part of this server on a personal mature level now. Assist staff members where I can. Help others where others cant.
