What are some examples of your leadership and/or teamwork experiences?
I’m in a line of work where proper leadership and teamwork is life or death. I’ve had the opportunity to work under great leaders as well as lead others. As for teamwork, it's crucial to my day to day at work, individualism will get you nowhere, while embracing camaraderie and brotherhood will elevate effectiveness and morale.
What do you excel at?
I love sports and anything physical. It keeps my head clear and allows me to focus on things. I’m a quick learner and I actively pursue opportunities to learn and better myself around those whom I look up to. As for in game, I love building. I've always had a passion for architecture and I try to bring real life buildings to TOR.
How familiar are you with the Lord of the Rings mod?
I’ve managed to put in over a thousand hours into the mod so very. I’ve played with many who have taught me tips and tricks on the game so IMO I’ve got a good grasp on the mod.
What is an example of personal growth you have done recently?
Recently, during exercise I had the opportunity to be second-in-command of my team, while rough at first, I learned the do’s and don’ts and gained a ton of leadership experience.
What is your role in the community, currently?
I try to help out those who are new to TOR. I care for the well being of the server, while many might know me as someone who goes around clicking on everyone I do my best not to ruin someone’s enjoyment on the server.
The last time you found yourself in a disagreement with another player, how did you approach it?
As far as I know the last time I found myself in this situation was revolving around a time where I killed a player. Naturally, the player was upset about this however things escalated and an argument questioning my morality began. IMO PvP in Minecraft has nothing to do with one’s morality, however I didn’t want this player’s experience on the server to be painted by this one event, therefore, I gave everything he had back aside from his Lore Item and we went our separate ways.
Lastly, what motivates you to continue playing and to apply to the staff team?
I’ve been playing on TOR for around 7 years, in that time I haven’t always been the ideal member, but I was always given a chance. As I underwent personal growth, I was able to build new relationships with people on TOR. Essentially, through thick and thin TOR offered me a platform to unwind and escape for a bit. My reason for applying is that I want to give back to the community and especially the staff team who work hard to keep the server running
