QUESTIONS:
What are some examples of your leadership and/or teamwork experiences?
I'll try to keep my real-life experiences brief, as I would like to focus on my growth and efforts on the server itself. Though I just recently graduated from university a year ago, still early in my career as a Cardiac ICU nurse and part time student working toward my Doctorate in Nursing Anesthesia, I’ve stepped into the Charge Nurse role a handful of times—coordinating care for multiple critical patients, delegating tasks, and ensuring seamless team communication. I try to bring the same team-minded approach to the Minecraft Story server by responding actively to minor issues such as TPAs to certain biomes, care packages to newer players and helping with builds. In truth my time played on the server is not as long as it should be since the time I first joined, but since I have recently started becoming more active around 2024-2025, I have made an effort to assist other players.
What do you excel at?
Accountability and Growth. In regard to skills that translate into Minecraft, and for the server, I know that I won't do everything perfectly as a player, and I expect to, and I have in the past made mistakes. However, in real life and in TOR, I strive to take the next best step in righting wrongs and doing what is best for the other players, no matter it takes.
How familiar are you with the Lord of the Rings mod?
Though I may not know recipes of the top of my head and I'm sure there are some features still unknown to me. I have played this mod since 2016 and I believe that I have seen a majority of this world created by Mevans.
What is an example of personal growth you have done recently?
To just keep it in regard to TOR and minimize sharing my personal life (Just a Personal Decision), I have been banned multiple times throughout the servers time, each time causing me to leave the server for months at a time before returning. Each time I’ve been temporarily removed from TOR, I’ve used that break not as a setback but as an opportunity to reflect in the real world and mature. In retrospect, having joined this server at a younger age, I felt as though I needed these brakes to grow up before returning. Right before coming back it every time, it gave me a chance to ponder on my in-game behavior, study the server rules, and come back with a stronger commitment to positive participation. Those pauses have taught me patience, respectful communication, and the importance of leading by example.
What is your role in the community, currently?
Hmm, maybe that one Really old Veteran Player, who sits on his rocking chair and talks to his grand kids about the old days lol. Honestly like I mentioned before I try to help other players when I can and when I meet other players, I like to talk to them about when they first joined, who they knew when they joined, etc... It gives me a way of catching up with events and lost time. Honestly when I'm not building, I'm just randomly parkouring around my unfinished building chatting with players.
The last time you found yourself in a disagreement with another player, how did you approach it?
In Truth I really don't know. Unless you count bartering a price, or Mido refusing to name me the High Overlord of Ivillis. If I were to have to give an answer, it would have to be back before 2020 when I was a much less mature player.
Naturally, not everything is perfect on TOR; what do you think needs improvement?
Alot has changed over the years, and though I am still catching up with some of the changes, I believe that the server has improved for the better, whether it be the events, community and factions. Two major flaws though, Fox crashing the server and Mido Not naming me the High Overlord.
Lastly, what motivates you to continue playing and to apply to the staff team?
To Overthrow Mido, Become Richer than Pangaea, To Make Prydwen Bigger than Yaryda and to dethrone the Lemon Company as the servers main weapons manufacturer
