i have for 1 and a half years now lead my fac, in the glorious capital of Angband. So let me introduce: Dûr Udûn! This is a fac that lives up in the cold north of middle earth, in the ice desert of Forodwaith.

You might wonder why the faction is in the middle of nowhere where nothing spawn. The reason for that is because the capital of the fac will be the ruins of Angband!

Backstory

Now for the backstory:

Long ago in an age of true evil and darkness, an evil took hold on the world like no other, an evil known as Melkor.

During The War of Wrath Melkor was cast into the void by the Valinor after losing all his demons to their might.

After Melkor's fall, the Valinor deemed Arda marred forever but, the fallen Maia Sauron was left to carry on Melkor's evil legacy. However, Melkor was suffused into Arda and with Sauron drawing his corruptive powers from Melkor he soon became an evil truly devastating throughout Middle Earth.

Middle Earth is holding off the forces of Sauron but are unprepared for what is coming their way.

During their travel to Carn Dum under the orders of The Witch King, Rûg Bloodstorm and his party of orcs stumbled upon ruins of a forgotten evil, an evil that should never be forgotten, during their venture into the ruins Rûg was infused with the maia named Lungorthin and soon began to change.

By the time they had finally reached Carn Dum the leader of Gundabad no longer was known as Rûg Bloodstorm..

He was known and feared by all of Arda, he was branded by the ancient evil that had been long forgotten, a power that could strike fear into the hearts of every man, elf and dwarf in Middle Earth.

I also made a more 1st person version of the story of how the fac came to be:

Rûg Had just gotten a note from The Witch king, summoning him to Angmar.

He and his closest followers set out to Carn Dum. But later when they had arrived in the Angmar mountains a storm caught them offguard and they got lost in the mountains.

After days of walking they felt the weather get colder and colder. Unsure of their direction they spotted something in the distance.

It looked like a fort, Full of hope Rûg Ran towards the structure only to realize that this was something different.

He entered the courtyard and felt a wierd energy run through the place.

This scared him a little, because he knew that this was not Carn, but something far darker..

Then out of nowhere the storm began for full again, snow and ice blowing in the wind like knives.

Him and his company quickly found a way inside and unpacked their last wood to get a fire going.

Rûg suddenly saw one of his orcs go further into the fort, the orc did not behave normally, he just walked forward into the darkness.

Rûg quickly forgot about it and unpacked his Warg pelt and laid it down by the fire.

Later that day he woke up from his slumber only to see a light in the distance, a dim orange light coming from a long corridor, like if there was a fire lighting up the darkness.

Had the orc found more firewood? Rûg quickly got on his feet and started walking towards the light.

Then a strange smell hit his face, it smelled like burnt blood and charred flesh.

When Rûg got closer he saw a burnt corpse on the ground, it had a wide open mouth like it had been scared of something.

Then the light that was just around the corner faded. And Rûg heard a loud bang come from behind him.

He suddenly felt dizzy and fell over like he lost all the energy in his feet. It was a strange experience, but it became stranger when a disembodied voice whispered in Rûgs ear

"Dagor dagorath is coming...... Rebuild this fort in the name of Mel'kor...... Begin the ritual of darkness..... Let your body be mine!...... Dagor dagorath is coming...... "

Rûg suddenly felt a harsh sting in his throat, like it had been cut. Would he die of a scary voice with no owner? The unkillable himself dying?

Then the pain was over and the world faded around him. Rûg looked up and saw a figure had manifested before him. It was glowing bright orange and had a strange form, it looked like a goblin, just taller.

"You will serve me... You will serve Mel'kor... You will sacrifice yourself for Mel'kor... I am in control now... Resisting my grip will only make it worse... Dagor dagorath is coming...."

"Who are you!? What the hell do you want to do to me you shrak!? I only serve Sauron, not your made up gimp!" Rûg Shouted

Then Rûg felt a sudden pain spreading through his entire body, it was like if he swallowed a branding iron. The pain burned him from the inside out and Rûg opened his mouth to scream but no sound came.

"I am Lungorthin, Master of the Guard of Angband ..... You will rebuild Angband and prepare for Mel'kors return..... Sauron is weak.... Mel'kor is the true dark lord and you will obey..... Dagor dagorath is coming...."

the factions armor, weapons, tools and troops will be the equipment of the forces of Angmar, Utumno and Gundabad
