Can quartz be sold on the Market?

Hi,
I wanted to suggest quartz to be sold at the market if possible. :)
The reason I would like this material to be sold is that I am making a big personal building and I have spent weeks in the Nether looking for quartz, but everytime I have a good amount of it, I die because I fall in lava, I fall from too high, or a Zombie Pigman attacks me. And even though I have Red Ent Draughts with me, when I fall on the lava I die before I get to drink it. I have lost many stacks of quartz in those ways and over 6 big pouches with lots of materials on it. Without mentioning the many equipment, tools, and armour lost in the act. Leaving me with nothing but frustration of weeks and weeks without still being able to advance on my personal building. :cry:

I understand. I wouldn't mind if it costs the same amount as Glowstone, which is also hard to find in my opinion. I have also died getting glowstone, but I found it at the market at 8 coins for 16 blocks only. As of now I have sufficient glowstone because I worked very hard in mini quests to get coins.
If it costs more than glowstone I would still work hard to get coins and buy it.
You can also mine glowstone dust in the misty mountains!
