QUESTIONS:
What are some examples of your leadership and/or teamwork experiences?
Probably the most relevant is my time as a moderator here on tor.
What do you excel at?
I don't give up easily when faced with problems and I can learn stuff very easily. Also I'm very good at remembering stuff having a pretty good working memory of the server rules (to the point I can remember if someone has broken the rules without looking at them and only need to go check to make sure the rule I'm remembering still is one).
How familiar are you with the Lord of the Rings mod?
I know a ton of stuff about the mod with how much I've played and how long I've been playing
What is an example of personal growth you have done recently?
I've found myself having to actually be responsible for other people in a community (because while moderators are somewhat responsible there is still others and things could go up to mido at the top whereas in this instance I have been in mido's spot on the ladder being not only the one the community looks up to but also the one the rest of the staff team looks up to)
What is your role in the community, currently?
My role in the community currently is pretty much that of the moderation team but without the perms that come with while also trying to maintain enough self control to let the staff team do their jobs when needed.
The last time you found yourself in a disagreement with another player, how did you approach it?
Somehow despite how much I've played on tor I've never found myself in a disagreement with another player. But if I were to find myself in a disagreement I would treat the other player (as well as any others that might get dragged into the disagreement) with respect and civility even if they aren't giving me any.
Naturally, not everything is perfect on TOR; what do you think needs improvement? I know I'm asking for a miracle here but it would be nice if players didn't come into the discord after an incident and start arguing non stop about it but instead just made tickets to argue their case with staff.
Lastly, what motivates you to continue playing and to apply to the staff team?
After I quit being on the staff team the last time I gave myself the requirement that in order to reapply for staff I had to first complete a leadership build and get it approved (so that I would be inclined to maintain activity to keep leadership and the leadership build wouldn't be a WE monstrosity) which has now been done and I am indeed more active. Plus I actually have fun plans I want to work on in dale that I can't do if I quit and like 95% of the time I spend with my girlfriend is playing with her on tor (which we can all agree we is not going to talk her into playing less tor) so unless I want to not spend time with her I'm going to play on tor a lot. Also right now with my not being employed a lot of my time is spent playing on tor as I have very few other things I'd rather be doing. I would just like to add on here at end that if I were to be brought back on to the staff team I would not use my perms to staff abuse venm nor would I show her any favoritism if forced to handle an incident involving her (though I would default to letting others handle such things where possible).
