Dear people of middle-earth,
High up in the red mountains the people of Ivillis were growing cold. This is when Foxtra of the south decided to host a massive expedition to lands beyond the horizon. He built a massive ark to transport all the people of middle-earth in their journey to this magnificent land. This ark was known as the Ark of Yaryda. However, while making their way south a storm like nobody had ever seen before, took the Ark of Yaryda beneath its waves. When passengers opened their eyes they found themselves in a foreign land. They had been carried up the gulf and the Ark of Yaryda was in pieces.
The people set out to fix the ark, yet when all repairs where done, they found themselves unwilling to leave this land they had stranded in. Perhaps this was what they really wanted to find. After all its a warm land, far from home yet not impossibly far to return from. They decided it was perfect, and all of them together created a grand city, with the ark as its central hub. There would be no good or evil in the land of Yaryda. Every faction is creating their own neighbourhood around the ark. The surrounding lands have been divided as seen below. As some factions have multiple sub factions it is only fair if those plots are of large size. For example, Gondor will include all their sub factions, as does Harad. All orcs and Uruks (from Mordor, Gundabad, Isengard, Angmar and Dol Guldur) will live in the same big neighbourhood. The same will go for the elves and dwarfs. Within these larger neighbourhoods there may of course still be a distribution between different orcs, elves, dwarfs etc.
The Ark of Yaryda is looking for you! The event will require builders to create these neighbourhoods. Every part of town will be in a different style and it is up to you to create these. Requirements of what is needed in each neighbourhood can be found in the checklist below. Based on this list and your own input each build will get points from the jury. The build with the most points will win!
Participation in the event will come with certain benefits, as players get access to an auto-unsmeltery, auto furnace smeltery, semi-automatic forge and an enchanting set-up. Furthermore, each plot gets 10$ worth of building material that can be requested to my discord (The Fox#7405). Remaining materials will not be provided. Do you want to participate? Contact me asap and you will soon be appointed a plot. May the best builder win!
Keep in mind that it is entirely possible to work with multiple people on the same neighbourhood, however the prices will have to be divided between the builders of the winning neighbourhood. The goal of the event in the end is to create a safe-haven together as a community! (Pvp is not allowed in Yaryda, unless you make an arena or something pvp related.)
The seize of the plots can be changed according to the builders needs and are intentionally not all the same seize. The custom factions of Ivillis and the Black Numenorians have received a special plot of land. Any other factions that are not on the map can always be added.
In 4 weeks the judges will start reviewing the first builds, however this may take some time.
(The final deadline will be 14-2-2021, but builds that are already done can be reviewed earlier)
