Salutations to one and all!
It has been quite a long time since I've posted an announcement, haha. As most of you probably know or at least picked up on, I recently took a vacation/break away from ToR. But I'm back and in the spirit of getting into full swing, I want to start doing events again.
I have an idea for a huge-scale event that I'm thinking I'll host around December, or maybe November... Don't worry, the prize will make it worth the wait ;)
However, December is quite awhile away, so I want to get some smaller events underway before then. This time around I am opening up the floor to you guys! Give us your suggestions for events that you would love to see done on ToR!
A few guidelines:
1) You CAN suggest events that we have done before (Build events, trivia, scavenger hunts, etc)
2) If you post an original suggestion please don't assume it will be implemented. The hardest part of events is making sure they are easy to host and as such, that severely limits what we can do.
3) Don't spam/post suggestions that someone else already posted. It's redundant and annoying.

u could have it where each player chooses a horse and then we'll see who wins

We could have a race with horses and mounts. Simply ban horses from Rohan and Rhinos! Whoever makes it to the finish line first wins simple. Also some players can bid on others if they want
Lots of people use Zyin's Hud so we can all see which horse is the fastest, kinda ruining the whole bidding aspect. Sorry to burst ya bubble!

i know there was an event lor did last september that i enjoyed that she literally set up while we were there watching in almost no time which was you had 2 teams in an area and each side had X amount of time to use provided materials to build a base to defend the when time was up you had to fight the other team

A huge maze might be fun, with some prize at the end and pvp allowed. Also mobs placed throughout it.

You could do more Mini-Wars with sieges on pre-made battlefields, or other pvp related events.
I think that Build Events are enjoyed by quite a few, and I assume they're fairly easy to set up.

we could have a tourney of seven. it's a thing from asoiaf it's kinda like jousting except ur two teams of seven and everyone has horses armor and Lances and charge at each other the team who's player's left standing wins
