QUESTIONS:
What are some examples of your leadership and/or teamwork experiences? Either in real life or online.
I work (for over 3 years now) at an interactive museum, where I provide (VR) minecraft workshops during weekends and holidays and educational workshops revolving around geography and sustainability for school classes during week days.
In Minecraft I don’t have a lot of experience regarding leadership. I have been part of a few small servers in the past where I helped as a builder and test subject, but those servers didn’t last long (as is with a lot of new, upcoming servers…) or are inactive/still in development.
What do you excel at?
As most are probably aware of, my thing in Minecraft is building stuff and based on what others say; I think I’m fairly good it.
On the social aspect I think I’m a very calm and thoughtful person, who is always willing to provide a helping hand or listening ear to the ones who need it. Whether that is regarding knowledge on the mod/server rules, personal issues, or when people are in need of materials (if you need an unholy amount of dirt*, contact me. My storage is crying) I am always willing to help to my best extend without expecting anything in return.

How familiar are you with the Lord of the Rings mod?
I wont claim I know all the recipes and secrets by heart, but in my years of playing this mod I have seen pretty much all there is and thus am fairly confident in my knowledge regarding the Lord of the Rings mod.
What is an example of personal growth you have done recently? In other words, is there something you weren't so great at before, that you worked on and improved over time?
During my last years in middle school and the first year of university I was not in the greatest of mindsets and very quiet/introverted. While I still am not very vocal, I think switching studies and joining my current job at the interactive museum have helped me open up more to others and made me much more confident standing before groups.
What is your role in the community, currently?
On TOR I mostly spend my time working on my own city in Lindon, or at the city of some not further specified queen (note: not officially queen yet, finish your city Cordy! You’re almost there!). I don’t often engage in long lasting discussions, but I do try to answer questions when they pop up in chat (and everyone who joins of course gets the customary “wb”).
The last time you found yourself in a disagreement with another player, how did you approach it?
I rarely ever find myself in serious disagreement with other players. I am open to the opinion of others and I like to think I’m a very reasonable person. When I do disagree with someone I’m always up to discuss our different opinions, as long as this happens in a somewhat civil way.
Naturally, not everything is perfect on TOR; what do you think needs improvement?
Something I noticed when Lemon was king of the wood-elves, was that at some point he had negative alignment with the wood-elves, which struck me as odd. I think it would be reasonable a faction leader should maintain the requirements for faction leader more or less at all times (leader build, support and alignment). I know alignment may vary and sometimes supporters become inactive, but I think a faction leader should at least maintain a reasonable alignment level. And when the position of faction leader is challenged, not only the challenging party should meet the requirements, but also the leader currently in charge.
Lastly, what motivates you to continue playing and to apply to the staff team?
Cordy and Ariana. In all seriousness, I’ve made some great friends during my time at TOR and I can confidently say this is one of the best and most wholesome servers I have ever played on. The community is amazing and very friendly and the same applies to the staff. I hope by becoming a helper I can further provide help to maintain this amazing place and provide helpful opinions on projects and happenings staff is involved in. (And lessen the everlasting demand for /fly)
